  • Don't Forget to Paddle!
    The Junior Alaka`i Nalu Program features an action-packed three days of activities where teens can sample a variety of ocean excursions. Paddle in a six-man outrigger canoe, an ancient Polynesian tradition. Try the latest ocean craze on a stand-up paddle board. Or dive the reefs like a Hawaiian James Bond with an underwater power scooter!
  • Something Fishy
    
King's Pond is a man-made aquarium that houses tropical fish, eagle rays and even a sting ray. Have fun assisting in training the King’s Pond fish to perform circus tricks with the Four Seasons Hualālai’s staff. They will teach you the skills needed to train them and any other pets you may have, even your little brother!
  • Zip It
    Sail through the rainforest canopy over the Pololu Valley. Eight full ziplines will get your blood rushing. Afterwards, hike through the rainforest and picnic by a waterfall. Go off-roading in a six-wheel drive Swiss Pinzgauer truck. Truly a tour like no other!
  • Grass Skirt Not Required
    Kids can learn to express themselves with modern hula moves accompanied by songs on ukulele and other island instruments. Each movement has a specific meaning, so be sure to watch those arms!
  • Snug as a Bug . . .
    A friendly Kids For All Seasons counselor will arrive at your doorstep with milk, cookies and a bedtime story. Parents who request Tuck-in Story Time for their kids will delight in seeing them tucked in and lulled to sleep with a Hawaiian story book, which is theirs to keep.

Ease of Travel

The inter-island carriers Hawaiian Airlines, Island Air, Mokulele and go! and the trans-Pacific carriers United Airlines, American Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, Northwest Airlines, Alaska Airlines, US Airways and Japan Airlines provide service to Kona International Airport, 10 minutes from the Resort. Air Canada, WestJet and Delta Air Lines also service Kona International Airport seasonally.

The Resort offers transportation to and from the airport. Taxi and limousine services are available. Please ask the concierge for limousine, sedan and taxi rates.
